    Default My Idea of Mud Monster – 09-04-2008,08:21 PM


    Thought I would post up pics of my mud monster. Looking more for the caretaker/monk kinda look for a graveyard scene, he is just over 7 feet tall. Wanted the effect of multi layer robe and he will be holding a dimly lit lantern.

    Many thanks to the "How to section." The pictures were taken while the prop was drying after being sealed. Next a little distressed paint and it is good to go!

    A few hours for the build and mud phase. Well worth the work. My plan is to have the lantern actually moving back and forth as if he is waving it. I will post the video when I'm done.

    Nice job! I made 3 attempts to create one but never could make anything but a mess and something that resembled a totem pole!

    Does the Monster Mud crack or flake when you try to move it?
