    ive got a rotating light that fits into a cigarette lighter and im wanting to convert it to a 110 plug. how hard would this be to do. I doing a eletric chair room for my haunt and im open to any suggestions

    Why bother converting it to 110. Its already at 12 Volts DC..

    Just go and get a 12V DC wallwart and use that.. No fuss no muss.

    You could even get a cirgarette lighter socket to plug it directly into and then just splice the wires into the wall wart..

    Plus being 12V its low wattage so no worries about electrocuting yourself.

    i think i may have even seen a cigarette lighter to wallwort unit. all you would need is to find it and buy it. no need to splice or anything.

    ebay or google must have something

    Yup, I have one of those units for charging my cell phone and iPod. You just plug it right into the wall and then plug the cigarette lighter adapter on the unit into it and presto!
