I was thinking the same thing Tish. It might just be worth the $600 dollars it would take in gas to drive my truck around pick up branches off the curbs on trash day!

Actually...I do like that a lot.

Very nice! I've been wanting to do something similar...that's a lot easier than trying to transport a branch that is large enough to be a small tree on it's own.

How did you secure it to the floor ???

I wire tied two rebar stakes to the base, one on each side. Then I hid the wire by wrapping the base in jute twine.
