Hallowskeen, the pattern I originally used for the spiderweb is at

SPIDERWEB TABLE TOPPER

Very basic & simple - just rounds of triple-crochet w/ chains in between... once you do one, you can easily expand on or modify the stitch pattern to suit yourself. I made a big one out of #10 thread that will be on one side of our porch - it's about 4 1/2 ' in diameter. The black one above was made from worsted-weight 100% cotton yarn ("Peaches & Creme", the same stuff you use to make dishclothes & such)

A few more halloween crochet patterns are at: Crochet Pattern Central - Free Halloween Crochet Pattern Links

I love the spider webs! The witch looks really good too! As for the doll busts, am I the only one that thinks they are kind of creepy already? Dolls freak me out sometimes.

ferretlady,
What on earth do you have to be embarressed about?? Those props look great!

I must warn you. After dong this stuff for a year you will fall under the magic of creating your own world. Make sure someone holds on to your pinky or you will be lost to the real word..........On second thought forget the pinky and let go. I have found that thanks to this forum and my world. I am not as crazy as the rest of the world.

Do not ever be afraid to share your "ART" If it inspires one other person or puts a smile on anothers face. Your art has done it's job. Best of luck to you and your world.

Pretty kool for your first try. Making your own scary props is most rewarding. Im in the works on making zombie hands comming out of the ground and floating ghosts. Ill post the pics when Im done.
