I just ordered one of these...the Velleman 8ch is about $130 assembled, this one is about $45 and is 12ch.
NetAirBuy 12ch
Anyone have any experience with either?

Yes, I have used a keyfob style in te past. It fits easy in the pocket and easy to trigger from there without being obvious. But alas, I need more than three channels.
Both of these above are larger (more akin to a TV remote), but the 12ch appears to still be 'pocketable'. Although a little harder to 'feel' your way onto the right button.
I like the 'live' trigger approach, as opposed to beams, mats, etc. We have a open front yard display type and I can watch for opportune times to startle a TOT. Or more importantly, when NOT to. So they think they are safely thru, or think they'know' how to trigger it themselves. Funny watching someone try to show their friend by waving arms and jumping up and down in front of it. When the finally give up and start to walk away - whammo from my remote.

I have that exact 12 channel remote. The remote is not very large and easily fits in my pocket. It has great range even without extending the antenna.
