Madame Leona Haunted Mansion Idea?

I have googled and noticed a great idea that mimics Madame Leona the spirit in the crystal ball from Disney World's Haunted Mansion Has anyone attempted to try this idea? Youtube shows alot of videos but there is a good website step by step iways to create it. I am curious if anyone has done it. The effect is so real of a real floating spirit unlike thos fake ones that Michaels sells.

I can't follow that link at work, but if it is the television on glass effect, it works REALLY well. If it is the projector on bust effect, it works fairly well if you really work on it.

Fake ones? I built one just like the one in this video and I'll tell you there's nothing fake about it! A head that really talks is a pretty good alternate to a projection of a face on a prop head which would be a lot more involved and expensive if you didn't already own a projector! IMHO

As a matter of fact I'm going to have one of these for sale soon as I made 2 of them!

Leota . . . Madame LEOTA. We Haunted Mansion fans are sticklers for accuracy. If you REALLY want to get our goat, refer to the Haunted Mansion as the Haunted House. Try it at Disneyland, and see how many of us you can annoy. You'll get some odd looks and maybe some whispers. It's funny. Then, if you go to a Disney Fan forum, we'll post about it and gripe some more. It's true!

I didn't mean fake I mean the spirit ball that you buy at the store is ok looking but the modifications that people have made as homemade are really nice looking I have seen alot of homemade modifications and they are excellent.

Do a seacrh on the forum. it's not very hard to do. You just need a projector.

i am a big fan of the haunted mansion one of the reason i do the haunted manor theme for halloween and last year i had to rely on the gypsy version to create the crystal ball room effect but your modified one is truly wonderfull .....bravo

...will you be selling yours in ebay ?
