My Husband brought these heavy cardboard tubes home from work, they are great, But now I don't know what to do with them
Can anyone help? I need some ideas.
They are hollow, so they could be cut down. They are also thick and heavy.
The Tallest one is 10'6", second tallest are 10' and the two mediums are 4'.
Our Dog Maddie is showing them to ya.

*ooOooOh* I'm dying to put my mouth up to one and make scary ghost sounds

I have no ideas though, but I'm sure you can do something amazing with them. Especially with the help of the clever crafters around here.

    Send them to me!

The two really tall ones, I could see putting them on either side of a driveway and making a really great cemetery sign arch.

Tall legged clown (I could see doing a really creepy looking clown that looks like it is on stilts leering down at the TOTs)

They would be great forms for standing props - you could cut them to approximately person height, then attach shoulder supports and clothes...
there has to be more stuff you could do - those are pretty nifty!

    Cute puppy!

How about a bunch of those fake candles everyone is making, although they'll be very large ones. Or a pipe organ, but that will take a lot more material.

    VERY CUTE PUPPY!!!

The only thing I can picture right away is trees, like birch trees, or bamboo. You could cut them in half long way and use them for some kind of wall effect, either direction or either side. You could have something impaled. Use instead of pvc for some type of monster frame. Make "fake" furniture (lightweight) and these could be the legs. Oh, how about giant candy canes with a scary demented santa clause lurking about.
So come up to the lab and see what's on the slab.

Oh good I knew I could count on the members here to give me some ideas.
I really like the tall clown idea, that would be so creepy.

If you do a cemetary it would make a great arch. You could even make scare crows and use them as post to hang. I think it's sweet.

    Good luck, keep us posted.

Laid across walls, sending your scary voice to the opposite side of the maze, adding to the fear and confusion!

We did this many years ago for the JC haunt.
You could also make a piping system to move or distribute fog from a fog machine.
Keep a small space from the end of the machine to the pipe so the fog will "draw".
Duct tape pipes together, plug the end of the final pipe and drill holes along it to spread the fog out, bury under leaves or grass and create a wall of fog possibly replacing an actual wall that you no longer need to build.
Cardboard tubes are cheaper than 2 inch pvc.
Using pvc pipe I even sent fog downward into the wine cellar successfully from the basement a downward distance of about 12 feet.
This kept the machine higher and dryer since it uses electricity and the wine cellar can be wet.
