Since I am doing a whole dead pirate theme this year, I was wondering if anyone had any plans for a skeleton parrot.
It can be static or moving, doesnt matter.
Also if there are no plans for one, can someone direct me to a place where I can purchase one.
Thanks!

I had the same problem last year, couldn't find one. Only thing we thought of was to thoroughly bone a cooked chicken and use that as a skeleton. Couldn't decide how to do the head though! Oh well, can't wait to see if anyone responds!

I havent seen any plans for one, but what about making one using a wire frame (coat hangers) welded together, then cover with the white Crayola foam clay for color and bone shape. The head could be done by using one of those syrofoam balls and squishing/carving it into the right shape and covering in foam or paper mache to smooth.
If you don't weld, you could use florists wire twisted together and cover with the foam clay in sections, waiting for it to harden in between so that it supports itself.

There are a whole bunch of 3-D renderings of bird skeletons here that you can use for reference

I made this guy last year using a bat skeleton, wire and clay. I plan on having him talk this year, that is if I can figure out how to do it.
Mr U, that's the same pic I used for my model, too bad I didn't make a neck for him cause I think I'm going to need it now for the jaw to move properly.
How about a swinging parrot skeletonhttp://web.me.com/buckaneerbabe/Site...Halloween.html

Skelly parrots that evilbob and bucneerbabe built are just too cool.
That skelly posted by unortho....I bet that cost a pretty penny.
I am trying to find some frog skeletons....all are expensive !
Good luck. Hope you find something or have fun building one!Today the Pond. Tomorrow The World!
