Hello again. I am here looking for some help. We are working our parks haunted trails, which consist of 3 haunted houses and a haunted trail. We are in charge of the 3rd house which has always been known to be the scariest and we are not going to let anyboby down. This year each house has a name and a theme to go with it. The 1st house is going to be an insane asylum , 2nd is some kind of fun house with clowns, amd ours......well lets just say we dont have a name or a theme, lol.....

We are planning on having 3 rooms in our house. Here are our ideas...... funeral parlor, cemetary, hell. Just not sure if that is to morbid? We have some ideas so far...

1.We have a real casket to use in the funeral parlor. Just need some more ideas to go with this scene.

    2. we are suppose to be getting a cat walk (thought that would be nice in the cemetary....as ppl walk acrossed it, we have someone under it with an impact scaring the crap out of ppl. Going to make some head stones. and unsing the prop idea (Rat Feast) with real looking rats that move eating body parts. any more ideas would be help full.

    3. We are thinking of using a hell room. I red lit room, filled with fake fire, a bottomless pit, and little animated demons. Any other ideas would be helpfull.

So that is what we are thinking of right now..... But we need to have a theme name for our house.Sorry for being long winded, lol. Thanks for any help and ideas

    That coffin?

Every eye will be trained hard on it, expecting the dreadful occupant to rise out of it. Have the coffin's resident be elsewhere and blindside the crowd from the opposite direction.
Make the room a final viewing chamber, coffin on display with a few chairs... filled with skeletons dressed as mourners. Fill the room with moans and wails of anguish while also playing a dreary version of Bach's "Funeral march".
    OR -
Place a really quality corpse in the coffin and leave it on display. Have a dozen or so mourners with their heads down, like dummies, unmoving, until the crowd comes through and interrupts their grief, then all the mourners stand, each with a demonic or undead face, and start slowly making their way toward the crowd, screaming and shouting at them.
THEN the corpse in the coffin attacks.

The catwalk. Have a few slow, shambling, rotted zombies in funerary clothes rise in the distance and start shuffling toward the catwalk from both sides, steadily gaining on the crowd. Once a few zombies are within a threatening distance to the catwalk, have one or two people push rubber prop arms up at the feet of the crowd as if reaching for them. Again, this should blindside the crowd, as their attention will be on the approaching dead.

I don't think that's too morbid at all. Fantastic idea.
