Default Haunted Mirrors

okay, let me preface this by saying if you haven't gone to see the new movie "Mirrors" you must see it. It is awsome. I would like to do something that I had seen before and hadn't given much thought but when i saw it in the movie I decided I had to give it a try for my yard/garage haunt. The effect is bascially a mirror that takes the shape of someone trying to get out of it. I think all I need is a frame and some kind of black stretchy knit material that an actor would stand behind and press his/her face and hands against but I'm not sure how to get the best effect out of it with lighting. I'm afraid the black lights only wouldn't allow it to be seen very well. Any suggestions?

ive seen this used in a haunted house near me, an entire hallway. I dont know how to make it look like a mirror, but check for black or dark brown spandex in the fabric store. Just stretch it between a frame or a doorway, and push against it. Just be careful that people dont punch the actor. (i've seen this done.) I think a dim light shining down directly over the cloth would look cool.

They make stretchy metallic cloth which may work, but not really. Making it a mirror is tough.
