Thread: What do YOU use to trigger your air cannon

I made an air cannon for this year and Im trying to figure out the best trigger for the device. What do you guys/gals use for yours? I would LOVE a Retroreflective sensor or infrared sensor but I doont really want to spend the $100 or $150 with timer capablities. Any suggestions? Its got to be something automatic and something that has a delay so it doesnt fire every time... you know how TOTs can be curious and sit there and try to trigger it over and over ;-)

I don't have an air cannon but I use one of these for triggering a pneumatic prop.
