Thank you so much Mark! I received phone calls from my neighbors "play the eyeball again!"

Ok folks...i know Halloween is over but, if you need a cheap projector for next years Hallowindow...

I found a new low cost projector at Linens and Things (which is going out of business BTW) It's a "Wonderwall" entertainment projector. It does not have the built in DVD player as the Zoombox does but does have the following for specs:

- Stereo input...although it just outputs to a single speaker. (lame)
- MR-16, 12 Volt. 50 Watt (so like the Zoombox...needs to be dark uuuhhh it will be halloween right?)
- LCD 1.7"
- Resolution 480x240 (which I think is a bit less than the zoombox)
- Fan cooling.

Anyway, I just picked it up today...haven't even turned it on yet. But, the best part... $60.00 on clearance!

It's a toy ...just like the zoombox but, fun to play with. I used my zoombox this year with the Hallowindow DVD and it worked out just fine using a dark bedroom upstairs in my house.

Well... I just ran a side by side comparison of the Wonderwall vs. the zoombox and now I WONDER what was on the wall. If you can believe it, it's even worse than a Zoombox. The wonderwall barely shows up in the day. Even though it has a 50 watt bulb, it's a weaker display. I think it's just the way the insides are probably built. The optics are much better on the zoombox. I can't believe the original list price on this was 199.00 at Sharper Image. So, YMMV if you buy one. I was really shocked at how nice the zoombox is in comparison. At 60 bux, the Wonderwall is priced about right.

For displaying the Hallowindow disk it would probably be fine just don't expect a very bright projector or a decent picture.

I tried to get some images but, they looked like they were very poor quality. I'll look at them again and post if they're ok.
