WHEW!! The dust is settling a bit this morning of November 1. What can I say? The last month has been nothing short of amazing... very busy... but amazing. Hearing all the great stories from those of you that set up Hallowindow in your haunts makes me really happy. It's funny that something with such humble beginnings has spread out and spooked so many people now.
So to all of you that brought Hallowindow into your homes and haunts this Halloween... THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! I really can't say enough. I'd like to extend the biggest THANK YOU to all my American neighbors to the south. There's some pretty strong Halloween spirit here in Canada but you guys go ALL OUT! I had the chance to talk to a few really excited people from down there and it was amazing to hear that they were just as into Hallowindow as me... sometimes more so. haha. Thanks a TON and good luck with the election... it's a historical one.
I'll be posting a new thread here in the next little while when I start on the next DVD. Right now I might try doing a Christmas animation but it'll be small most likely.
Gotta keep that Halloween heart a pumpin'
Mark

Mark. All I had was the downloadable "quickie" . I put the eyeball up in my daughter's room that faces the street. I put the other in the front window. I live in Lloydminster, Alberta and it was about 4 C. last night with huge winds all week. The winds calmed down just in time. But no other decorations other than the pumpkins.
We live in a new area that usually doesn't get many kids. I had to borrow from friends for candy.!!! People were coming from everywhere , saying "we followed the eyeball!!".
I made you some "business cards" and handed them out with the shots I give the adults. They also loved that you were a fellow Albertan! I hope you do well, you have produced an incredible product.
I can't wait till next year.
Kim.

WOW Kim!! Thanks a lot. The business cards with shots is so above and beyond!! Much respect for doing that. I know some good dudes from Lloyd... shots on Halloween would make your house their favorite. haha.

Mark, Hallowindow was a hit! I piped the sound outside along with a lightning machine and it rocked. Remember when I said I was going to create a lot of kid zombies? Well, I did!
I was so busy inside my haunt that only once I was able to pop out and take a peek out into the lawn. Well, I saw about 30 people (adults and kids) just mesmerized by it. DH told me it was that way all night LOL! It was a hit!
Here's a video of it after everyone left (about 10 pm) so no kids but you can see the lightning machine and the sound: (long video but the Hallowindow is in the beginning)

Well Skeletal, you helped make my haunt great this year.
Here is a picture of the house. Hallowindow was in the upper middle window.

Here is a shot of the haunt at night....

And a little clip (sorry for the poor quality) of Hallowindow in action...

We had people stopping their car in front of he house...some waiting on the sidewalk for the video to run through the sequence. It was great. People saying they were gonna go grab chairs!! hehehe! I ended up needing to play the video from my computer to resize the window to match my window's aspect ratio. I actually ripped all clips from the disk as AVI files, added a couple of other clips, made a playlist, and had it loop over and over and over. Thanks again! I have some ideas for more scenes. I'll be msg ya Skeletal! We all loved it!!
A couple people asked if we were going to have something up for Christmas. We always make the house look pretty nice for Christmas, usually subtle. I had not planned on doing it for Christmas, but I have some cool ideas that might look tasteful and great. Wonder what you have up your sleeve, Skeletal!?

Yes, thank you so much - the video was fantastic. We had groups of 50 at a time standing there watching with their mouths open. It is the perfect product for us - with a wide upstairs window and nothing to do with it. My husband even drilled a hole through our bedroom floor just so we could run the sound wires downstairs. I can't wait to get next year's!! Thanks again!

well skeletal,
you can put me down for a Christmas animation as well as a new Halloween.
As expected, it was a huge hit.
One guy saw your animation on youtube and was really excited to see it in my window.
I told him you were selling dvds. He didnt realize that.
