I love those... I too went to the Hallowindow site. MUST HAVE! The one with sound is that part of the DVD, or would that be something to do on our own? I would love to add this to this year's haunt, I've several windows that we are going to put various scenes in, and this would be PERFECT near the entry. I'm going to email now so I don't forget later.

A few people have been asking how much the DVD will cost.
I'm trying to keep it around $30 - $34 Canadian but it'll most likely be on the lower end of that. I still have to look into the shipping costs. End of September is when I expect it to be released.
Thanks for all the interest so far everyone!!

Hey folks,
One of the extras you'll find on the DVD is a solid 2 minute loop of the giant jack-o-lantern. So if you're feeling your pumpkin isn't quite spooky enough just through this fire breathing bad boy up in your window and impress the kiddies.
more soon...

That looks awesome!
I can't wait
I have a few more questions. What should I look for in a projector?
Will I need a program on my computer that will reverse the dvd? If so, which one?

Oh that pumpkin is so cool! Those 2 minutes loops would be a great addition. If I may suggest a few more of those loops. Like ghosts. A giant monster eye. A roving spider?

some projectors allow rear projecting.
look for this feature when buying a projector.
It happened to be on the one I got.
not sure how common it is.

Maybe on the DVD, you should burn 2 tracks of each segment, one normal and the other reversed for rear projectors that do not allow you to flip the image...if they exist.
Should be easy enough to flip the image in your editing software.

hey Kruella,
I'm honestly not sure what to look for in a projector... I think they are mostly the same. As long as you can plug a DVD player into it you should be OK. As far as I know you should be able to hook a projector up to a DVD player just like you would a TV.
As for flipping the video... the DVD will include pre-flipped versions of the animations so you won't have to worry about that. Flipping it is really only important for the animations that have words displayed in them, so some of the extra animations like the pumpkin won't need to be flipped.
hope that helps
