boogeymangraveyard, how long did it take to get to you? I'm just wondering what the transit times are like from Canada. I don't think I've ever had something mailed to me from there....
I can't FREAKIN' wait for my copy!

All agreed, you don't want "plastic", you want fabric.
I assume you meant 2 sheets for size? (width)
Here is my experience, one shot is with wet paint and the other dry. There are two kinds of people in this world, those that think there are two kinds of people and those that know better.

oh yea, here is one just on a shower curtain.....frontside only.
Also, for the information of people other than Victor and I (he knows), this is a "homemade" projector....not the same light output of your standard high lumen commercial projector. There are two kinds of people in this world, those that think there are two kinds of people and those that know better.

I'm confused. What is the best material for the screen?

The short answer: walmart shower white curtain- size 70x72- easily enough for most windows but use 2" clear tape to put two side by side or to add to the original if your viewing area is larger than 70x70

What kind of projector? Any projector will work (Mark has kindly made a hallowindow version for diy pjs- since those pjs cannot flip the images horizontally) just as long as the room you are projecting from is dark- not necessarily pitch black but at least no lamps nearby. What about resolution? I'm assuming this is 480p dvd-grade so whatever you have- be it svga, vga, xga, or other will be fine.

Thank you Victor for the clarification. And I bet it's cheap too. Awesome

So am I to understand from all of this that the white vinyl wal-mart shower curtain will work well for a rear projection, or no? I usually front project onto the garage door, which used to be flat. But now we got one with those "indented squares" in it and that will make it look crappy. Plus I used to use a 30-40 pound beastly projector that I didn't care about having sitting in the middle of the driveway. But now I have a much smaller, more fragile and more expensive projector that I'd like to keep safe, so I want to try and rear project from within the garage, but not if it's going to sacrifice image quality....

And can be used for front projection also. So whichever setup you go with- from the front or from the rear- you can use this curtain.
