Good Choice! I think you will be very happy. I bought mine already assembled off of ebay 3 years ago and it still works like a champ.

Thanks for your help Greg. I purchased the Ramsey 25b too. I also used the link you provided to find the best frequency. I had several to choose from.
I'm getting very excited about this project!
Now I need to make a sign to post my FM station to all the cars.
It's crazy how many of our TOTers are driven house to house. Back in my day, we walked miles Halloween....up hill both ways

Anyone looking for a projector should consider the torpedo entertainment projector. I just bought one on Ebay. It is cheaper than the higher end projectors, but it should (I'm hoping) be adequate for Halloween.

Just got my fm transmitter.
Took it for a test drive. works pretty good. I am pleased.
as mentioned earlier, now I need a sign.
Those signs on planet Christmas are very nice. But at this stage in the game I need a cheaper alternative.
gps, did you adjust the voltage?
I used it straight out of the box. Heck I even forgot the extend the antena.
wonder how much further it would transmit with an external antena.

Iceman, I almost bought one of those last year. What kind of range do you get and is it clear?

If you got the FM25B you can control the tuning voltage but not the power voltage. Here is an excerpt from the manual.
We need to adjust L1 for the correct tuning
voltage at TP1 to ensuring proper operation across the band. TP1 is located
just off the exposed lead of R21 that is closest to the outside of the
FM25B • 21
board. With an operating frequency of 107.9 MHz programmed into the DIP
switches, there should be around 9.0 volts (+- 0.2 volts or so) at TP1. If there
isn’t, adjust L1 until you read 9.0 volts. The LED lock indicator (D1) should
now glow brightly. If not, you may need to SLIGHTLY tune the control voltage
up or down from the expected standard in order to compensate for building
tolerances.

I got my projector today and it works great. I could use this projector in a movie theather if I wanted. I was shocked how good it worked since it was used and from ebay you never know what to expect when buying something from ebay. Mark flash is gonna be a huge hit at my house this year can't wait.
