I am in search of a retired Dept 56 Halloween tree. It is the large bare branch spooky black halloween tree that is 5ft tall. It is like the smaller 2ft one they have out now if anyone has the 5ft one and wants to sell it or knows where I can get the 5ft tree please email me I have not been able to find it and I love it. ...Aw, you beat me to it! I was gonna post this...I agree on ditching the lights in a heartbeat! That is the first thing I thought of when I saw the trees - the lights just add a "cheese factor" to them...not quite as spooky!
