Here is my unfinished pirate for this years haunt. He isnt finished yet, I am going to give him atleast 2 axis movement. I am also going to distress the clothing a pit, and dirty up his face.
The wheel at the end of the video will be what he will hold. Im currently building a platform, but right now it is WAY too heavy to even transport, so Im back to the drawing board.
Anyone have any ideas on a pirate platform that uses really light wood? I have seen a few while searching, but mine needs to be easily transported
thanks!

Lookin' good!!
I mounted my pirate captain and helm to an old pallet. I've been putting all my large pirate props on pallets. They're strong, relatively light weight, easy to work with, and you can find them for free.

-DGM, that looks GREAT!!!
I took 4 pallets and nailed them together, and ripped up all the boards and made them a bit closer. Unfortunately, it has made it way too heavy for transport.
At this point, i might just have each individual prop on pallets like you have.

Looking Good! Reminds me of a Prop my Uncle got me a while ago. It was a grim reaper with a microphone where when you talk it talks and the jaw moves and its eyes flash. I never used the mic tho. Ended up just using a cd with scary stories on it and hooked it to it. But sadly I lost the AC adaptar in a move =(
