I figured i would ask for some input here as well

I just finished painting these..


I am planning on mounting them to the top of my columns.

I was thinking about possibly using a spring wing toggle bolt and then a bead of caulk around the base to hold them down.


Any other ideas ?
They will be mounted to a piece of plywood that wil be screwed into my columns.
