I need some ideas guys and gals. I want to put some sort of light prop over my Rommba and let in run around my garage. I was thinking a paper mache witch. I figure the tiny tot's would like that. Bombard with ideas and I'll post up the progress pics.

P.S. Thos little buggers are expensive so it can't be permanent

I was going to say spider or rat.

It would be pretty easy to make either out of paper maché and fake fur, and you could even get a little battery operated light for the eyes. Velcro the body on top of the Roomba, and you've got a pretty nifty prop!

How about a witches broom? Paper mache a cone shape, cover with raffia strips, add a light weight wooden dowel, paint it up and there ya go.

    Wow, you guys are fast!
Mal, I was going with the witch on broom originally. I was going to put it about 1 foot over the Roomba like it was flying. That's still an option.
McScream and FG, I'm actualy working on a skeleton torsoed spider.(If that makes sense) I'm just wondering if it will be to heavy.
Thanks for the input everyone. You gys are all so reliable

lol I have a roomba and I'd never even thought of that as a possibility! You'll have to test how dense you can make your cover/costume for the little thing. Too thick and the 'bumper sensors' might not work.

    What a great idea.

That's why I'm going paper mache. Any kind of wood/metal/latex thing would be too much. Im going to put some weights on it and see how it does...as soon as my wife gets home and shows me how it works
