I got antsy Sunday night and went ahead and covered my reaper with the monster mud. I "dipped" the material into the mud instead of painting it on with a brush or by hand. I let it dry for a couple of days, and not too bad of a turnout, I think. I still need to maybe put a second coat on and definitely need to weatherproof it. I got a couple places where chickenwire are showing so I need to paint it black or ad a little more material. I still have a sword I want to make for it too...but here is the guardian of my cemetery this year....
I have to give a BIG thank you to jimmyzdc for his excellent work on his monster mud reaper here:

Mines nowhere near as good as his...but his is a fabulous how-to regardless.

Excellent work, CMG!! The draping is perfect, and he's really tall...what kind of fabric did you use?

I didn't use burlap...I found a cheap fabric in the clearance section of Wal-Mart that was $1.00 a yard. I bought 10 yards and used maybe 8 yards of it. It was a fairly thick fabric, and it was a tan color...didn't think the color would be that important since it was going to be covered anyway.
Thanks for the comments guys... it really wasn't that bad of a project. Easier than I thought. Why rule the living when you can control the dead.

Nice Job there.
