I haven't a clue, I've got about 4 projects in various stages of completion.

I'm a nerd.
I have Microsoft Project loaded on my laptop, which I take with me everywhere.
Early in the year, I created a project with everything that I wanted to get done for this year.
I set up all of the dependencies and the required completion dates.
I'm still way behind schedule...but everytime I log on here...I look at the "XX days until Halloween" counter...and it reminds me that I need to get my back-side in gear.
So far, this year, I have completed:
Grave Grabber
Web Shooter
Flying Crank Ghost
3 Alien Face Huggers
2 talking bucky skulls
4 3-axis skulls
6 4ft. sections of cemetary fence
3 tombstones
In the works, but not finished:
6 3-axis skull VSA routines
dangling crank spider
6 hacked gemmy spirit balls
Need to start and finish in the next 60 days:
12 more sections of cemetary fence
5 more tombstones
10 "busted wall" decorations
pneumatic attack dog
It also helps to log on here and be shamed by others who have more and better props than I have

committing just about every spare minute to it. I play racquetball 2 eves per week after work. So the other three weeknights, I get a few little things done before making dinner... like casting skulls, corpsing something, adding a layer of paint to something. On the weekends, I haven't been going anywhere lately, so I've committed those larger chunks of time to larger props. I am fortunate that our haunt is for a club, and this year I've enlisted some help. If you can do something similar, it might help. Saturday the 9th I have assembled a group for working on stuff. They'll work on PVC candles. I have foam tombstones cut and letters carved which they will paint. I figure if all they do is paint the letters black and put a base coat, I'm ahead of the game. I have 6 or so (and more coming) cast plaster skulls, that I'll have them paint and corpsify. Corpsing is great since they can't really screw those up. Then we have 6 bluckies coming that we'll carve up and corpse, maybe make a few of them winged demons ala Cassie7's wonderful work. There are some frames for a wall system and some for some pillars that need to be constructed. I am giving the dimensions to someone else and having them build them. So you get the idea... DELEGATE wherever you can. I just can't believe how fast Halloween is coming!!!
So come up to the lab and see what's on the slab.

There will be a lull. –

My house, The Ravens Grin Inn, is open every night of the year. Getting projects done is my livelyhood here but getting anything done when i have to pick up tools and things for the house tours makes life complex, sometimes.
A definate lull always happens as school resumes. We hammered a roof on the house one time during such a lull.
We have only seen three nights this month that we were shutout, goose-egged= no business.
Even when nobody shows, I still have to be ready incase they do which limits what kinds of things I can be doing while waiting.
Sometimes the sofa wins. I have to hold it down with the entire weight of my body."My Insanity is well-respected, until they wiggle free and become a stringer for a tabloid"

COLOR="YellowGreen"]I am with you evileyes. How do these people get all this stuff done? I am Unorganized. Once there was kind of sorta direction to my madness. But since joining this forum and the Florida Haunter's Forum.....Every project I see, read, hear about.....gets put on my list of "I want to do." My family, who thinks I am a little insane for thinking about Halloween all year, but who enjoy it 3 x's over in October, is ready to bonk me on the head and drag me away from the computer and out of my "shed". Abunai, sounds like he has got a plan and has got it together. ahwahneeliz and Gym Whourlfeld sounds like they have others to keep them on track and focused. But I am just overwhelmed...Time, $ and what shall I do next! LOL !
I am sure that we will find our way evileyes. We' ll catch our groove. [/COLOR]Today the Pond. Tomorrow The World!
All this has Happened Before and will Happen Again

You just need to jot down the ideas and then spend a few hours developing them... and updating the record as you go forward. Set a schedule of what props you want to do (I usually like to knock out five a month).
Already 2009 is done on paper and prop building will start come Jan 2009. And 90% of the material to build have been procured.
2010 is in the developing stages and layout should be completed around July 2009 and then for the next six months product and material to builid the props for that year will be procured.
Already we are planning for Halloween 2011 the Pirates Revenge.

This a prop record.
These are not links... just the themes for the upcoming years...
