Holy crap! This thing is so cool! $2500 is probably waaaaay too much for the average Joe to drop on something like this but you pro haunters may be interested.

I saw someone make one of these with a motor and a magnet, but it wasn't quite that nice. Of course, like everything else, you can only find the how-to when your NOT looking for the how-to.

It's an OK prop, I could build one for less. Prop2 with a servo linkage and magnet to move planchette, then trigger 3 radio receivers to turn on tv and radio and flicker lights. I especially liked the part were they sell you on "Proffesionally produced TV static..." LOL! I can do that by unplugging my cable.

They can make a prop, but not a webpage. 1,278,877 bytes is way too big for a single image on a web page...Others could be reduced as well.

If you watch the video you can see that there is a person's silohuette in the static. If you guys didn't watch the video you really don't know what you're missing. The guy they've got running the "seance" is very cheesy though.

    Here's the video link:

PETER LOUGHRAN is a supurp magician and creator of effects. I am a fellow magician and own his "Rainman" effect. His props are built really well to last. But the prices are a little steep. And you could make one kind of like this like the one in the how to tuts. but it might not be as fancy.
I do wish we could chat longer, but... I'm having an old friend for dinner. Bye.

Right, I've seen lots of how tos on moving Oujia boards, but never one that was programmable or controlled your lights, radio, and television. I think the effect is absolutely amazing.
