I'm so excited. My neighbor put out on his curbe a few days agoa an old metal shop vac container (approximately the size of a beer keg) that's on a dolly type set up. I kept looking at it and decided that I can put a Hazardous waste sticker on it and turn it into a pretty cool prop for my yard haunt.
This made me curious what type of things other people had found waiting on a curb that they turned into props?

Last year I found these trunks for our pirate theme.http://www.halloweenforum.com/pictur...pictureid=2103
and I found the "dock" which was actually four sets of planks probably used for a playhouse since they were painted kid style with 1 thru 4 on them.

I like to grab broken reindeer out of the trash after Christmas - the motors are great for animating things.
I hit the construction sites and scavange thier dumpsters for wood as well.- Brad

Just last week, I found a 70's-ish electric organ in a ditch near my house. Not quite old enough or fancy enough to use in a haunt as-is (unless I find a flowered couch and do Grandma's haunted house) but I think I can find some use for it.

I always keep an eye out for old wooden fence slats. They make great toe pinchers.
Just because I'm Paranoid, doesn't mean there isn't someone out to get me!
