Photo-Op Board is Finished!

I drew out a child sized Ariel Mermaid on a board and hubby cut out the face area for me. I finally got her painted and done! I used black duct tape around the border of the board and around the inside of the face to keep all edges smooth and splinter free.

The face hole looks bigger in the pic than it actually is, it just has a black boarder around it that blends in with the hole.

I had to laugh at myself...I was wondering how to render the water bubbles and I was thinking of making a stamp out of sponge or cardboard and then all of a sudden I realized "You dumb nut! You have an airbrush and a stencil with a ton of different sized circles!" Geeze, I can be so thick at times

It's nice to put a DONE stamp on another '08 project!

MAN, you are knockin' out props left and right, Cassie. You're making the rest of the class feel pretty bad right now. But that prop is freakin' sweet. Can't wait to see the pirate.

Actually, I've had several props well underway and just needed to finish them up. I made myself work on them all to get them out of the way before I begin working on my obelisk.
