This is my version of the Uruk-Hai sword from The Lord Of The Rings movies.

The sword is made from a 3" wide X 33" long piece of maple I purchased at Home Depot for $3. I then spray painted it with a silver spray paint, then added the rust and leather wrapped the handle.

Total time to create 2 hours.

    Thanks for looking!

Thank you! I forgot to mention that I am going to use it in my Skeleton Guard prop that was inspired by eerie.

No offense, but I'm not convinced that's not metal. If it IS wood, you should go ahead and move to Hollywood cuz' that is just awesome work.

Thx! The pictures above don't do it justice. The wood is actually 1/2" thick. Here are a couple more showing the thickness.

Rookie no offense taken. I am going to make another sword, regular medieval, and post it in the How To Section. It's REALLY easy to make these!
