ok here is the first prop of the year , it is an air blower that will be hung above and behind the viewing area of my seance routine and aimed at the viewers necks, at the peak of the sence the sprits will get angry, the lights will go off and the viewers will get a blast of air from behind them. the manifold has four nozzles and is around 4 feet long.

i got mine from lowes for about $15, don't know if they still carry them. it is alittle slow but says it will handle 150psi and has 3/4in ports.
here is the one i used [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Rain-Bird-Sprinkler-Automatic-CP075/dp/B00002N8NV/ref=pd_bbs_sr_5?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1216523089&sr=8-5]Amazon.com: Rain Bird 3/4-Inch Sprinkler System Automatic In-Line Valve #CP075: Home & Garden[/ame]

(note) it works great as is but i want more and am thinking of taking out the quick connect between the solenoid and manifold to get a better flow rate and adding a 3/4in reservoir to match the size of the solenoid for a more efficient blast of air. the work of a haunter is never done

Very interesting. I'm wondering if you there are too many nozzles for the application?

Keep us posted on the results, our air cannon was a great addition last year... it even got people who KNEW it would be there on the way out.

Guitarist, it looks great. Wilbret, I just ordered an air cannon, thanks for alleviating my buyer's remorse. I want you, Guitarist and Wilbret, to consider one addition to your air set up, a stink bomb scent chamber. Why not offend all the senses, touch, sound and SMELL. I am using a product I saw and smelled at Transworld, Liquid Ass, for the chamber. PU. The chamber is available at Minions as well as less offensive scent doughnuts if you prefer. I can't wait to see their faces............................

Great idea! That should get them screamin'. Have you tested it yet? I'm curious as to wether you get the same airflow at the nozzle furthest away from the solenoid as you do from the one right next to it?

it's hard to tell but it feels about the same at all of them because i am going from a large volume to such a small volume, it will blow about 3-4 feet at about 75psi. i now intend to take the quick connect off between the valve and manifold as it is going from 3/4in to 1/4 back to 1/2in and acting like a choke, and i will also add about a 1 foot 3/4in air chamber before the solenoid for a sudden blast of air. the neat thing with this design is that it's keeps putting out a continuous stream of air. the chamber for the blast of air will also refill in a few seconds.
