Okay I didnt think this would be a problem cause my wifes laptop has XP.
Till I came home last night and found Vista installed.
So, I remeber reading you could use it as an administrator.
Only prblem Is I dont know exactly what this means.

I have the same issue. I have only 1 account on my laptop (admin) and it still gives me small issues. I haven't talked to Jerry in awhile - maybe they have a fix / patch at SKulltronix.
I got my Skulltronix last Halloween (wife wasn't thrilled with price - credit card company loves me though) right before they released the DMX model (bummed on that too - would have waited). Im still trying to figure out how to make the routines. I want to by the new Magic Motion and upgrade the skull but cant this year.
I will post anything I find about Vista. Good luck

Everything in the SkullTroniX world now works in Vista.
Older versions of VSA may be a problem, but I think the updated versions work better.
If you continue to have problems then turn off the UAC (user access control), this can be found in 'User Accounts' (just type it in the vista search bar)
There is more information on Vista Compatibility on the skulltronix forum

Thanks for the quick response! I will try that. Haven t had much time to play with the skull this year. The wife started bringing up the need for a new routine last week.
Thanks again!

Sorry that you lost out on the DMX version, it was a little new last year and its a hairy thing releasing a product as new as the BoC so close to Halloween.
The good news is since then you can be sure that the bugs are ironed out, the BoC really is a great upgrade to the skulls and has greatly improved the reliability and servo lifetime.
Making your own routines with VSA is something of a pain in the rear, this is why Mikes routine writing services is so great, Magic Motion does make it a LOT easier to home brew your own routines, or indeed remotely control the skull live and have it directly interacting with the punters.
