My Cemetery fence:What I would like to build my fence with these gates on it.

and I have some questions for the Gang that have made theirs:

in a 15' linear section of fence how did you space the rods ? How far apart works best? 6"- 8" ?
also I am going to to use these finials on it: first one on page.
Plastic Finials - HOOVER FENCE COMPANY

so if I use 1/2" Pvc pipe with "+" to make the grid what size finial would work best. should I get the 1/2" and use a heat gun to put it on or get the 5/8" and screw it on.?

I thought I could work on this while I was layed up. Thanks ahead of time Hugs

RBC you can get those finals alot cheaper from kingsmetals.com . Here is the same ones. I just purchased approx 90 of the 3/4 inch ones and with shipping it was around $28.00

Where are those gates from ? Those are cool

I built / am building my fence since its in construction now out of wood since it ended up actually being alot cheaper and sturdier than using the standard PVC.

I just ripped scrap wood from the lumber yard firewood pile (old pallets etc) into 3/4 strips ranging from 30-40 inches long each and then ripped a 2x4 in half and attached the strips to that vs having to drill out each hole for the PVC..
