Use black paint (matte or gloss) with sand mixed in fer tha' "cast-iron" look. Go rent Treasure Island, or Long John Silver for ideas.. I 'ave both an' got a wealth o' information fer my ships..

I had a lot of fun building this and want to add on some other things that sort of go along with it. Since those pictures were taken we built a much better ramrod. I was thinking maybe some life-size chain shot. Idk, what can you guys come up with.
