I agree, I have patience but not enough to do something like that.

Hold on, man. We don't go anywhere with "scary," "spooky," "haunted," or "forbidden" in the title. ~Shaggy from Scooby-Doo

What I would love to find is a "real" working clock that when it gets to the 13 starts going crazy. First the Winchester chimes then when the gong starts the hands start turning wildly in different directions and then when it's finished it ends up at the 1:00 hour. So it will actually skip the 13th hour and function more like a real clock.
I knew that the resistance will turn the motor backwards, just like a windshield wiper motor. But since my minute hand is only glued down I can't use that technique. So I have to unplug and plug it back in. Unfortunately when I'm in set up mode, I have to have two people do this because it is plugged in behind the faux wall and I would have to be running back around the wall each time I unplugged and plugged to see if it was running backwards. There will come a time when you have a chance to do the right thing.
I love those moments. I like to wave at them as they pass by.
