Thread: vortex chiller tutorial?

I am looking for a proven tutorial for a vortex type fog chiller.

I saw on the vortex site a smaller version/. this is what I am looking for since space is always a concern.

so what have tutorial have you used with success?

There are a couple of threads on HauntForum on building a fog chiller. I read thru them and have now built mine. I'm using a 50 quart Igloo cooler that I found at Target for $20 and change. The trip to the local HD got me some PVC and couplings. I also found a 2x4 sheet of "egg crate" in the lighting dept. I cut this down for an ice shelf that sets on a small pvc frame on the inside of the cooler. The "egg crate" sheet is something you would normally see hiding the lights in a drop ceiling. It has 5/8" square openings. The whole thing is plastic and cuts very easily with a hack saw blade.
