Thread: how do I put vsa on another computer

I have bought one copy of VSA from Brookshire. How can I put it on a laptop for my show. Or, do I need to buy a copy for each laptop that I am going to use in my show?

If you will copy the install file to a cd and then run it on another computer, you should have no problems. Make SURE that you write down and keep the special key that you received from Brookshire when you ordered VSA. I installed mine on a stand alone computer and then had that computer crash. I did not save that key and when I tried to reinstall, it was asking for that special number. I didn't have it anymore and emailed Brookshire. They sent me my old one or a new one that I had to use within 24 hours. I did and it worked fine. Now I keep that number written on my install cd. Brookshire went back in their records about 9 10 months to verify that I had indeed bought VSA from them and then covered my short sightedness. Brookshire ROCKS!!!!!!

Well....I have found my registion # for my vsa console. But not the one for the VSA.

Yes, you will need your email address and registration number from Brookshire. If you have lost it, contact them. They will send you the info once they confirm everything.

It is not likely that you have a serial port on your laptop. Be sure you have a USB to serial adapter if you want to use that program on a laptop. Some laptops have a serial port, but not most.

yep , I found the date I bought it and sent it in with the email. Ive got the comm port adapter just need my durn key...lol
