Oh shoot ... the YouTube vid says "We're sorry, this video is no longer available".
Any way you can post a different vid or maybe "describe" it better or more detail?

I don't know much about pneumatics but it looks "simple" enough to use some type of motor (maybe an old drill). That's what I would look at if I were trying to do this ... but then again ... I don't do motors either
I do static props ... mostly out of foam.

to me it looks like it has a pneumatic actuator to move the body back and forth and maybe another on the leg, the lightning behind him is just a flat panel kind of lightning display, like the flat versions of the lightning globes

Every electric chair I have built used a 1-1/16" bore 4" travel double acting cylinder mounted between the shoulder blades to provide movement.

is the 1 1/16'' cylinder needed? that would be around 88lb at 100psi, couldn't you use a 3/4 bore around 40lb at 100psi , or did you just want extra power there as a safety

I try to run all my props at as low of a psi as possible. With 1-1/16" bore cylinder I get enough power and speed running at only 40 psi.
For example, Evilusions , this huge 8', 8 function animatronic I built, 42 psi in the video, and I probably could have gone down a little.Brian Warner
