okay...not quite sure what to call it but I'm working on it. Here is an update on my progress.
I have carved the face and put down a couple coats of paint on the head.
I have started painting the body.
Things that still need to be done.
Head: Add depth and highlites...Make and paint stalk....add rotted flesh and lights inside.
Torso: Add browns and depth and highlites....replace hands with long vine like fingers...add rotted flesh.
I am going to try and make this into a FCG type prop or at least make the arms move in the same manner as one.
SUGGESTIONS PLEASE!!!!!!!!

I love it. What did you use as a "mold" for the head?

I used the beach ball and rope method that was done by somebody on this post. I don't have the attention span for paper mache so I thought I would use Great stuff plus the texture of great stuff looks so organic when you paint it right.
Thanks everybody for taking the time to look.
I finished one project tonight and I am putting the final touches on another...going to use the PVC candles that RIKKI posted. I should be able to do some more with the scarecrow tomorrow.
