You can actually make one of these. They're called flashpans and there's a video on youtube that shows how to make one. All you have to do is search flashpan on youtube.

If you were to put it up on a platform at about 7', then do a mirror on the ceiling, you could bounce it back onto the floor.

Has anyone tried the Chauvet abyss JR.? I was wondering if it had a duty cycle.

i am pretty sure it does as it is one of the cheaper models, i would say it's cycle is about 15/15 15min on 15min off
