The Gemmy site doesn't show the NEW 08 products yet, so the following might not be a complete listing of the 6' Gemmys. Little or no information about what these characters do or say was provided at this time. I've noted the descriptions provided:

Screamer
Is he screaming at you or near you?
Life Size Screamer with Top Hat and Candles Zombie is wearing a black pin stripe suit with matching vest, tie and top hat.
Includes 3 realistic, flickering fake candles in candelabra.
Head shakes.
Prop makes screaming sounds:


Beheaded Bride
Talk about a bridezilla!
What went wrong on her wedding day? Life Size Beheaded Bride is a really scary bride!
Brides' eyes light up in a seething green:


Skeleton Pirate
This Pirate has his eye on you!
This Life Size Skeleton Pirate is made of plastic, fabric and metal. He is holding a goblet in one hand and his sword in the other.
The eyes light up, his head turns and his mouth moves as he says funny comments:


Jason (says new for 08 - thought I'd seen this before)
THE scariest decoration you could have at your Halloween party.
This 6' Life Size Jason Voorhees will really deaden up your party.
Life size prop stands approximately 6.5' high (77").
Prop has tattered clothes, a hockey mask and Jason's signature machete:

Depending on what she says, a prom dress with blood all over it would be Carry ... I mean scary.

Yes, the bloody prom dress would be cool if the dialouge fits. That dress they've got on her is cheesier than any Barbie wedding dress I've ever seen. I'm sure you could find a decent (at least more realistic) one at Goodwill. Just not sure about getting it on over her head!

Yep. Sleeve and maybe part of the side will need to be slit at the seam and either glued closed or velcroed.

I saw that BuyCostumes.com is gonna carry most of these.

That's where I got the pics. They're first that I've seen to show some "New in 2008" stuff. Wasn't there last Friday. Maybe others are starting to list them online too. All of these indicate first availability in August 29 at BuyCostume

Lots of screamer props this year. Wonder what they sound like.

Saw these earlier in the year, they are very good pieces and they will sell quickly.

I got the Pirate and he was a big hit at out 3D movie night in the garage last Oct. Awww the good memories that was.
