Hmm...Yeah, it is actually. It's the base to their standing, rather cheaper line of figures. It's a gemmy item, you can tell because it looks exactly the same face as their Screamer.

Regarding the base - these may be early product photos before final design has been approved. Companies I work for sometimes post images that are quite different from the final product.

It's relatively close to the donna the dead base/ mummy base. The bases they used in the other screamer images are merely bases they would use on prototypes and on more articulated figures like the butler, it seems.
It's still a gemmy item, i have no doubt in my mind about that. But it's obviously a slightly cheaper figure- so it only makes sense it would have a cheaper base. Like i said, it resembles the base they're 40 dollar, battery operated, standing figures would have.

Yeah the Pirate I got was from Sams (same as the pic and they sold here at $ 159) and I got it as a present from my Pastor (cool story there). The Pirate comes with a mic too, his head turns, body turns, arm moves, jaws move and one eye lights up. One very cool prop !!!

It says requires batterys- nothing listed about ul approved so I would say along the lines of the original donna the one I got from buyinlatables just batt operated eyes light up only.
