I think this is the appropriate place to post this unfortunate thread.
Stan Winston was the genius behind some of the most beloved iconic creatures in modern movies. He and his team created classics like the Terminator Exoskeleton, The dinosaurs of Jurassic Park, the re-imagined monsters in Monster Squad, Pumpkinhead (which he also directed), the Iron Man suit in the current movie and a host of others.
He was one of the great practical effects men in the industry and will be sorely missed.
May he rest in peace.

Stan Winston was a giant and created some of my best loved movie memories. The big T-Rex in Jurassic Park was so unbelievable. I don't think anyone can fill his shoes. Rest in peace.
