Thread: new prop idea...hanging bodies

I just threw this together this morning it took me about 1/2 hour tops. I would like some feedback and let me know what you guys think.....Does it look good enough to pass for some hanging bodies for my butcher scene?????

Sure ... but maybe have a body part stick out of the bag just to make it more convincing so they "know" what's in them.

I took some extra foam I've had laying around and I taped some together to give it a form. The I just rolled it up in some white plastic that I also had laying around. Then just when I was about to finish rolling the last layer I sprayed some red spray paint on the plastic and kept rolling. I have enough of this scap stuff laying around to make about 3-4 more of these.

How about having a foot or two sticking up out of the top... Or putting in an arm or leg (in the appropriate position) under one layer of the plastic.

I like this idea! I think a good butcher wouldn't have a body part necessarily hanging out of the plastic but you could set it up like this to look good.

Very macabre. I'm not sure about the body parts sticking out, tho. It seems obvious (which maybe you need for ToTers). A prop hand or leg inside, that you can barely see through the plastic seems more eerie to me.

I like it the way it us. Keep em guessing.....

I think it looks great. It's real obvious (or should be) of what they are with the head shape at the top. and if it fits with the rest of your theme, then I wouldn't do a thing to it. In this case the arms or legs would be too much IMO

Yeah I think it looks fine with out any body parts. It leaves much more to the imagination. It would be cool to have maybe one of them squriming like it's not quite dead yet.
