I cannot take the credit for this, as the idea was given to me by someone else;

For the purposes of this post we will say that we are sculpting a head

First step : take your block of material you will be working on

Second step : remove anything that doesn't look like a head

Easy huh ???

LOL! that's right....concentrate on creating the empty space around the head. Once you have that right, the head will just fall into place.
