Does anyone know of a tutorial on how to carve a celtic cross tombstone out of insulation?
Or can someone just tell me?
    Thanks

Or just go here Monster Page of Halloween Project Links down towards the bottom of the page is a whole section on tombstone construction.

I did one that is a little more simplified. After I put all the pieces together, I mudded the joints with drywall compound and painted it. I'm hoping to make a couple more before Halloween.

    Thanks guys,
I just got the coolest little electric styrofome cutter at Jo Anne fabrics, they had a 40% off coupon, it almost looks like a soldering iron but with a much thinner metal piece, I have used a little battery powered one in the past to cut out tombstones but it was shaped kind of like a c clamp with a hot wire running from one side to the other, so you were kinda limited to what you could do with it, plus it would always lose heat, and I hate using the jigsaw to cut it and having that stuff fly all over. Although it flys all over when I dremel out the words. Since this one is just straight, I can just poke it straight into the middle of a sheet and go to town. I am excited to give this new gadget a try. I also need to some kind of a flat dog shaped plaque or maybe a dog bone to make a "here lies the last dog to poop in my yard" tombstone.

Sounds like a neat tool! I'll have to go looking for one now.
You can probably find the dog/bone piece at Michael's. Just look in their wood working section - they have a lot of little flat plaques in all different shapes that are meant for painting.
