The local scout group is holding an indoor garage sale today, but I was able to browse the wares last night.

I bought a 12" high plastic cauldron for 75c, Lighted ground breaker for $1, Tree hugger monster for $1, Sound effects CD for 50c and a vampires medallion for 10c.

Unfortunately I have to work on Fridays and Saturdays and so miss most of the garage sales around

Sorry, I should know better than to not post a pic ... please accept my humble apologies ...

Here is the $3.35 worth of purchases that I made ...

The ground breaker has been tested and works great, the light fades in and out. The tree hugger needs some repainting ... now all I need is a tree !!!

Sweet! I went to a garage sale a couple weeks ago, just randomly and hit a JACKPOT! They had a bunch of Halloween stuff. I asked how much for the giant spider and over-sized skill...and the lady said how 'bout $40 for the lot! I got the spider (around 3 feet long) a 2 foot tall foam skull, three tomb stones (one a very elaborate 6 foot tall cross with a skeleton on it), a full-sized hanging skeleton, a creepy scarecrow on a pole, two severed heads on stakes, two random severed heads, three severed arms and one foot, a plug-in pumpkin and a plug-in ghost, a large bat that flaps its wings, a broomstick, a ghost costume, four funkins and some other stuff that I just can't remember right now. In total, 6 garbage bags FULL of stuff, plus a bunch that wouldn't fit, lol. We filled the trunk and the back seat of the car. It was great!!! )

Wow, wish I could come across something like that. I did find a great looking skull I that I got for a dollar. Another haunter had beat me to the rest earlier that morning.
There will come a time when you have a chance to do the right thing.
I love those moments. I like to wave at them as they pass by.
