Recently, I noticed that the garden center in the store I work, had gargoyle garden ornaments for sale.
The price tag for these is $40, and I found it hard to justify spending that amount on a gargoyle that I'm not sure what I would do with.
However, on the weekend I noticed that one of these had been damaged. I asked if a deal could be done on this and was told that I could have it for half price ($20).
Well there was also a 10% in store reduction, so this brought the price down to $18. As an employee I got an additional 15% staff discount making the final price $15.30.
You can see the damage in the pics, but I think I should be able to put this right with some great stuff and at 14 inches high and 11 inches wide will make a great addition to my graveyard.
Just need to work out what to do with him !

Good score!
Model magic will fill that in nicely. Then just paint over it.

Or, just leave it damaged. The cemetery stuff is supposed to be old and creepy, right???

Wow ... never thought of just leaving it as is, and the web & spider idea is great ! Many thanks for the input !
