Thread: gemmy Spirit ball Hack?

Anybody know how to hack into a gemmy spirit ball to make it say something diffrent? I had taken out the head from the ball last year and used it as the head for my witch. Now I want to use it for the head of my ghost bride but I need it to say something diffrent. Any how-to's?

you then use it minus the skull to adapt the spirit ball head into one of these or I'd guess pretty much anything you'd want:

I take the parts of the Boris and install them in the base of the spirit ball as there is plenty of room in there. You may have to come up with something else if you've removed the head? I've done 2 of them and they work and look just like the one above. He has a small how to on that video posting on you tube, just type madam leota in the search box and you'll find the page that has this video and the how to as well. I used his how to as a guide but it's not very detailed so there was some trial and error but it's pretty easy. Other than the Boris modification you need to connect the motor wires from the Boris to the spirit balls mouth motor. In my case add a few more LED's and wa la you have a Madam Leota!

very cool! I actually used the ball to do a projection with madame leota. I saw on youtube before where someone just found something to plug there i-pod into and played it from that.
