Oh! That would be terrific!!! I really want to create another walk-through haunt area, but I'm very concerned about injury (for obvious reasons).

I completely understand. We're talking about little kids safety. My son and I try hard to over engineer the structure of our haunt for safety. In fact, with the expansion last year, we didn't relly allow enough time for the goodies inside. He's decided to build some pneumatic props this summer in his spare time, so we will be adding some snap to the haunt this year. Please check my 2011 Haunt album here on HF. http://www.halloweenforum.com/member...ween-2011.html

After years of renting a storage unit, we finally decided the $70 a month would be better spent on a shed on our property. It's one of the best investments I've made. However, I still can't figure out why he won't let me leave the decorations up all year 'round! LOL!
I make vinyl signs and banners and on the large ones we cut half circles every foot or so to let the wind whistle through them. It's barely noticable when you're looking at the big picture.

Each skull stacks on either side of the entrance is mounted to a 2x4 which is in turn attached to a 4 foot 4x4 burried 18 inches into the ground. Before back filling, we place good sized river rock into the hole to combat the rain/wind challenge. I also add a 2x4 at a 45 degree angle screwed to another 2x4 used as a stake to help keep the front arch stable.
Anyway, here is the album of pics taken for my future reference only, so please forgive the poor quality. Hope you can derive some value from them.

) We have seriously strong winds here and one year I had our "tunnel" collapse on me. Fortunately it was before any of the TOTs arrived, but it landed on my head, which was unpleasant and dangerous. Since then we've been using our gazebo, but I'm worried that it will just take flight one of these days, since it's not all that strong.
