I have a Skulltronix DMX skull with the DMX lighting. I have a Rapu that Jerry set up to work with the skull. I did not receive any directions on the set up and have not been able to talk to Jerry yet. I can see where the power source plugs into the Rapu and the DMX lighting plugs into the Rapu. What I am not sure of is what to do with the two wires coming from the skull. I know one controls the eye lights and the other the servos. The plugs at the end of the skull wires do not seem to match any plugs on the Rapu? Do I need some kind of adaptors? A picture would be great on how and where to connect. Thanks

    Jerry's been out of town.

The two cables from the skull are DMX cables one is DMX in and the other is DMX out

DMX daisy chains so you need connect the DMX cables as follows

RAPU -------Skull ------ DMX light 1 ------- DMX light 2------termination resistor

connection should be fairly straightforward as each device has a three pin connector I believe the RAPU has one female socket, and the skull, lights have male and female sockets

btw there is the SkullTroniX support forum at SkullTroniX (tm) Support :: Index

Phoenix the skull wires coming out are both female three pins and look the same. The only male three pin connector on the Rapu is labeled TTL OUT? Not sure what to do. Thanks

hm... is it possible that you haven't been sent the DMX leads that go from the Skull to the DMX network, a few skulls were sent out about Transworld time that were sent without them.

The leads you are looking for have the round 3 pin XLR/DMX connector that's the same as the back of the LED lights, and a connector at the other end that will connect to the skull.

If you have not got them then you are going to have to give Jerry a call, however, hes away in a place where he hasn't even got a mobile reception, so best leave it until Tuesday/Wednesday before you try him.

Yes I see the picture now. I figured this is where I would plug the DMX lights into. Once I get the right adaptors for the skull wires where would they plug into the Rapu? Thanks

The skull plugs into exactly the same place, all DMX devices plug into each other, the lights have two sockets on the back, and when you have the correct cables then so does the skull so you end up with a single chain of devices.... up to 32 before you need a repeater.
