My 6 year old, soon to be 7 wants a pirate themed birthday party.
I would like to buy/build a pirate skeleton that I could put at our backyard gate welcoming guests...so I am looking for something that can be triggered via motion, etc. that plays some small audio and/or has some basic motion.
BTW his birthday is in August...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Oh yeah - it would also be great to use for Halloween too.

My 3 yr old Gr-Son is Crazy for Captain Jack Sparrow. and the Pirates Gang.
what it seams you be hunting Matey is the simple way to make a Crew member:
He be just a talker check out this link:
Scary Terry's Halloween Page once you get him to talk , it be harder to shut him up, arg!!!!
Hope this has helped.
also check my Pirates section on my website for low cost props. and Treasure

Or you could use mine. He's just sitting in a box waiting for Oct. to roll around.

Last year we did a pirate theme party and I don't have anything large, but I have pirate hats and other decor I no longer need. If you would like them I'll box them up and send them out. I have some swords, hats, eyepatches, and wall decorations. PM me if you're interested.

Bozz that was such a wonderful gesture to loan your pirate to make a child's birthday extra special. That's what I love about this forum...it's packed with plenty of caring and friends. Kudos my friend!

Why thank you so much for the kind words. And I really love my Pirate, he was a surprise gift from my Pastor. It really blew me away. We use him for a movie night in the garage for the kids last Oct. and the Microphone he comes with worked great. We did a lot of voice overs while hidden inside the house, very funny stuff. Dead Eye Drake was a huge hit !!!!!!
So I added a few more pics below....>>>>>>

WOW!!! It's good to know that people like you guys still exist in the world. I just got myself a warm-fuzzy inside. I wish I had some pirate stuff to offer, also. But I currently find myself pirate-free. You guys are awesome.
