What software did you use to make your voice track?

I use sound forge and there is a neat function on it called "Normalize".

I use that for these tracks. Yes, they need to be amplified. there needs to be a big difference in the wavform that you see between sound and no sound. You don't want every sound you make to peak out as high as it can go, because yo want variety in how wide the skull opens it's mouth. But the points where you are loudest should peak all the way to the top in the waveform.
