Are you asking how to corpse? or best ways to apply?
You can use many different ways to apply finger, sponges, brush etc... If your asking about how to corpse here is a very nice how to by skullandbone.

I'ld recomend against using your bare hands, just for the cleanup factor.
I personally find sponges to be difficult, or rather more messy. Brushes tend to be a bit better.
When cleaning, HOT water cures it almost instantly. Cold water does not. Use this to your advantage. Hard surfaces, you want to cure it and peel away. Porous (spelling?) ones, you want to use the cold water to wash it away without it curing.
And by all means, make sure you're not allergic before exposing yourself so thuroughly to the stuff. Latex allergies are no laughing matter.

Hi Djm902, I'm as much experienced as you are ( that means I'm at the Zero ground), anyway I got and advise for you as much as corpsing is concerned. A friend of mine who is very experienced in corpsing stuff told me that latex tends to decay through the years if you use it as the only ingredient to make your skin,. But if you add fabric or cotton with it you can keep it for a long time.
Hope this helped..."In just seven days I can make you a man!"

Really there is nothing to it ! Just jump in with both feet.
I have used it with paper towels, cloth, and cotton balls. Dip whatever you using with it, into the latex, and wipe off the excess. Then apply it to what every "base" you are making i.e. a skeleton. If you use a brush to apply it with... it will build up with dried latex pretty fast.
I tend to use my hands, but I am not allergic to it.
